Very evocative of this kind of breakfast. I was going to ask "Where's the salt and pepper, and the toast", but to have included them as well would have taken away from the excellent detail of the various aspects of the egg ! Good balance of lighting.

Excellent balance of lighting, IMO. Perhaps I might have included the whole egg shape into the frame, if possible.

Brian, there's plenty of salt on it - visible on the yolk (I had hoped the crystals would show up better). Curious, I generally like pepper on all sorts of grub but it has never occured to me to put it on a boiled egg... doesn't sound quite right somehow..... :-)

Very nice lighting, and I like the way the spoon in the background is there once you look, but not distracting on initial viewing.

Hmmmm, technicaly perfect:) but not to appetiser for me ...but,logically a photographer do photographs :)
