Subject information:	The bright red of the berries caught my eye while we were visiting the nature reserve Hautes Fagnes at the Botrange during the European Oly-List Meeting in September 2000.

Nice berries. The background seems a bit too busy, or else the contrast needs to be raised a bit, though.

I think a wider aperture would have blurred the background more and would have thus made the berries more defined as the subject

Great colours on the beries and leaves. I think the picture might be more effective if it were lighter. Obviously it's hard to guauge colour on the net, where everyone has a different monitor, but when I saved a local copy of this picture, and viewed it with increased the gamma, I found it much more effective.
