Subject information: One of a pair of adult swans that has been around on our local lake all winter with 5 immature swans (cygnets). Can be a little aggresive, but is prepared to eat out of my hand. Pecks a bit hard sometimes.

Also, you're a brave man to dare let a swan eat out of your hand...:P

Comment left by: Wiliam (wiliam@orange.nl) Nice portrait of this swan. We have one here with a nest about 200m from our home. The male does not want anyone or anything (including ducks, excapt for one!) around his pool. Since it is in the city he sometimes is a nuisance.
