Sporty Giraffe

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Tim Randles
Title: Sporty Giraffe
Gear used: E-500 + 40-150mm lens + circular polarizing filter
Subject information: Taken in Kenya at Masa Mara Game park with E-500 and 40-150 lens with circular polarizing filter.
The giraffe was leaning down and wrapping his tounge around the acacia tree to strip the leaves but standing still, I tried to get a "sport" shot here because he was being such a good sport about us watching him have breakfast.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Very nicely captured, and it is a beautiful animal.
It's almost like he(?) positioned his neck such that it would fit well in your composition. Nice work!

I love Giraffes, Composition is fantastic!

Comment left by: Graeme Pow (no e-mail specified) Hehe... yes, it does look like the giraffe ducked down to be in the frame, doesn't it? I like the colour of his markings. Nice shot.
