Two Hearts

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Ian Wilcox
Title: Two Hearts
Gear used: E-1 + 180/2 and 1.4TC
Diaphragm: f4 at focal length 11mm
Shutter speed: 1/30s
Film used: Digital at iso 400
Technical information: I knew what I wanted to photograph and had made some shots earlier last month, but I found the bright sun causing me highlight problems on the glass behind the hearts, sure I could probably have reduced them if I had the time and knew Photoshop better, but I decided that I would reshoot it in the rain and this time I found that including the bench made for a much nicer shot.
Subject information: How does this remind me of Walt, well the two Hearts are obvious, the building is the village shooting hut, all Swiss men between 18 and 35 must practice as part of their military service. Rest in Peace Walt - I learnt a lot from your emails.
