Technical information: Aperture priority, ESP, ISO400, Natural mode, default contrast/saturation/sharpness settings, auto white balance medium/normal JPG. Cropped to remove my shadow, straightened, resized and export in iPhoto. No other post-processing.
Subject information: Spanish Village Art Center, Balboa Park, San Diego. One of the Enamel guild shops. Late afternooon sun is behind me (no flash used, even tho it looks like it).

Comment left by: ncl (no e-mail specified) the more i look at this pic, the more i like it, especially the specks of light on the "6", on the roses surrounding it and the swirls on the left-hand hanging pouch. good title too =)

I have to say up front that I don't know what the original looked like but to my view it's a bit too much green/blue. Color adjustment in PS to make the door number background closer to white is more pleasing to my eye.

Comment left by: siddiq (siddiq@ucr.edu) Chuck, didn't think about color balancing to white. I'm sure the predominance of red (and the reddish light) might have thrown a curve to the AWB sensor.
