Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Frank Wijsmuller
Title: Old ceiling
Gear used: E-1 + 14-54mm @ 14mm
Diaphragm: f5.6
Shutter speed: 1.3s (-0.7ev)
Film used: Kodak sensor 100 ASA.
Technical information: The camera was on its back activated by the selftimer.
Subject information: This is the central part of a magnificent ceiling of a room in the 'Central Museum' in Utrecht, The Netherlands. It was actually saved from a art-nouveau building which was destroyed to make way for what is widely considered one of the uggliest shopping malls in the Netherlands. Allthough parts might look slightly green, in reality it is gold coloured (as are the walls) with red.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) You did very well to get this picture so perfectly centered, that's often not easy to achieve with ceilings. I also like the lighting of the ceiling, and the fact that the text is well readable.

Comment left by: Chris (no e-mail specified) Excellent composition!
