Title: If you would just fill this please sir...
Gear used: Zuiko 50/1.8, a digital body. Photoshop.
Diaphragm: F8
Shutter speed: 1/300
Film used: ISO 200
Technical information: A little tinkering with photoshop although not as much as you would think. Unfortunately jpeging down has made the colours more solid than I like, the original is slightly more orange and translucent. That is quite annoying as most of the problems I had were in figuring out the amount of dilution needed for the food colouring I had originally wanted to use yellow and blue but on checking the test shots decided not to.

For anybody wanting to try this kind of shot, I'd recommend an assistant well versed in washing up and glass cleaning.
Subject information: I've never understood how jars with these wire closure thingies work.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Very cool end result, looks like a lot of work to get this correct.

Comment left by: Chris (no e-mail specified) A very polished result, I should say, notwithstanding your dissatisfaction with the colour.

Comment left by: siddiq (no e-mail specified) how did you get the sequence of drops falling in, when the lid seems closed?

Comment left by: Ian (ian@skelly.eu) siddiq - 6 shots, one with the lid closed, 5 with it open, capturing the drops as they were poured, then a bit of photoshop to merge them together + stretch the jars left and right.

Comment left by: Chuck Norcutt (no e-mail specified) I'm impressed by the shot and the ingenuity.
