Subject information:	This was a theme I had really been looking out for, as colour is for me about the most important aspect in my pictures (as well as sharpness). I had many ideas for this theme, and consequently at the end I had a very hard time choosing from the dozens of very diverse pictures I had. This particular picture was taken at the showroom of Munsterhuis, our local Ferrari dealer, where people were nice enough to let me freely take pictures of the many very expensive Ferraris (and other cars) they have. In the end, rather than choosing a picture with a very diversely coloured subject, I decided to go for this picture where the typical Ferrari red is dominant, yet subtly contrasted by the bright yellow Ferrari symbol. In this particular picture I also like the leading lines a lot, which I think make for a somewhat daring composition.
Technical information:	Nothing special, just switched off the flash and composed the shot such that the Ferrari emblem and the hood were nicely aligned vertically and horizontally. As the lighting conditions consisted of a mixture of incandescent lighting and daylight, I also took particular care with the reflections, as well as controlling the bright red colour.
Digital trickery:	This picture is as it was shot, and other than resizing to the 800 pixels format, absolutely no edits have been made.

Simple. Bright. I suspect there are folks who would buy this and hang it on the wall. No matter what you charge, it won't be as much as the car. Nice work. I like.

I agree. Not only a very nice shot but probably highly salable in small to moderately large sizes to Ferarri (or wannabe) owners.

Wonderful red, that IS red :). The simplicity of the composition is interesting, what is a little bit distracting for me is the light reflected over the curve that traverse the pic, reflection from the logo I think...maybe in PP taking it out, would be interesting ... But is a great shot, quand meme!
