Technical information:	Exploring different parts of a complex flower which grows in swampy places at the end of summer.
Subject information:	Could not find its scientific name, but blossoms at specific spots since I was a child. Height of the whole flower is about 0.5 meters, and it smells nice !

Lovely shot with nice reds and yellows. I also very much like the sharpness on the two red stems. They look a bit like two walking 'Trifids' (if you've ever seen that old horror movie) with a bunch more of them moving in the background.

Beautiful yellow! I like a little softer background, open up to f4.5 would do better for me.

Trifids !! - lol. I have the book and read it a while ago, but didn't know there was a movie. Glad you both liked it, have one at 5.6 but finally decided to submit this one, as it makes more clear the repeating pattern of red stems.
