Technical information: Handheld, image cropped. Tried to get more than one seed in focus, took over ten shots to get this one.
Subject information: When walking through a park, we found these interesting seeds, some of them flying on the air and catch my eyes. The lighting was also very attractive.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Lovely bokeh in this one! This looks like it should be featured in Olympus' next macro catalogue!

Comment left by: Chuck Norcutt (no e-mail specified) Photography is about light... and this is a prime example.

Comment left by: Jay Drew (no e-mail specified) I'll echo Olaf's praise about the bokeh. Creamy smooth which definitely helps bring the focus to the seed.

Comment left by: Jose Adolfo Segura (no e-mail specified) what a fantastic and well done macro. DOF,bokeh are superb!

Comment left by: Fernando (no e-mail specified) The lighting which didn't throw a high contrast perfectly matches the smooth bokeh, and the subject itself begs to be photographed the way you did - you clearly knew what you were doing, anything different would not have rendered such an harmonic composition.
Worth the time for taking over ten shots, (that's an advantage of digital photography) - those seeds are known as 'Panaderos' here, seeds of the 'Cardo' flower; a very interesting subject for a difficult to make photograph, always failed when tried to capture them floating in the breeze ...
