Subject information: The Nasturtiums that decorated our guest bath fade soon after the OM List visitors have gone. More slowly, moisture eats at the silvering of the mirror.

Making a photograph on such a concept was one of my earliest serious approach after I got my first OM 2 loaded with KM - I was 20 then, and now I think of that shot as rather naive.
Not like this one, which is very subtle and perfectly composed.

The plate edge in the foreground bothers me - I'd have tried to get rid of it and make sure that the flower was inside the white rim on the reflection. That's an awkward adjustment though and possibly impossible.
