an excellent choice to use B&W as it isolates the action and adds to the drama - it is a well composed shot, with a little license taken on angle. I would love to see this shot with a slower less grainy film say Ilford FP4 125ASA

Concentration captured well. The lines look good, both of the ropes and the limbs.
