Submitter's name: Fernando Gonzalez Gentile
Title: Welcome!
Gear used: Handheld Olympus OM 2n on Auto mode, Power Bounce Grip 2, TTL OTF T-32, H. Zuiko 24mm / 2.8, Winder 2, Eyecup 1.
Diaphragm: f5.6
Film used: Fuji Provia 100F
Technical Information: Recently bought the H. Zuiko in like new conditions, and was getting accustomed to it, while trying to make better wide angle compositions. Thought this subject might be specially suitable for a straight flash dump, but the plants at the left were an unexpected unavoidable obstacle, and quite foreseeable came quite overexposed. Managed this using Highlight / Shadow in PS. Good thing I found is that the T-32 did cover a 24mm FOV. Last, reduced noise with a third party plug-in, which unexpectedly made the photograph even more artificial.
Subject Information: This house looks like no other in my city.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Wicked effect with the harsh colours and the diagonal composition.

Comment left by: siddiq (no e-mail specified) for some reason this brings the movie "Amelie" to mind.... maybe the supersaturation and the gnome.

Comment left by: Wayne Harridge (no e-mail specified) Looks more like a movie set than a real house. The angle adds to the bizarre effect.

...Wayne

Comment left by: the photographer (no e-mail specified) A small amount of the supersaturated look maybe due to the fact that I submitted the entry with an embedded color profile, and this version has no color profile. Did so since I was too optimist when considering FF3 feature of recognizing ICCs, thought everyone would have this feature turned on. Moreover, it is possible that I had sent this entry in adobe RGB 1998 instead of sRGB. Anyway, that is a small difference: you should see that real supersaturated house ... never saw one like this in my life.

Comment left by: Jay (no e-mail specified) The diagonal tilt really makes me want to walk into the picture and hang a left to see what's behind the shrubbery. And taken on film to boot!!
