Subject information:	A few days ago we fired up this cast-iron pot because it became chilly in the evening and we wanted to stay outside. When all the wood was on fire I saw the possibilities for this Tope subject.

Excellent detail and colour. And somehow the movement of the flames has been stilled. Good shot. You are lucky at being able to have an outdoor fire like this. Where I live all such outdoor (and indoor) combustion is forbidden under Clean Air law.

Brian, Makes me think where you live, maybe California? I visited recently but think speaking of clean air a bit downwind of LA is a bit optimistic. I am sure that where I live the air is a lot cleaner despite some people firing up these firepots.
