CHOPSTIX?

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Ira Kahn
Title: CHOPSTIX?
Camera: OM1
Lens 25mm PenF on bellows { DIY adapter }
Exposure: f5.6 at 1/60
Subject: Two teeth from a broken comb + a diode from a dead circuit board.
Except for a touch of sharpening and contrast correction, no computer intervention.
Color in the clear plastic generated between two polarizing filters.
Since my eyes are not yet functioning properly, the wife gets the credit for focusing and pressing the shutter on the light table setup.
Moral of the story-- NEVER THROW IT OUT BEFORE YOU SHOOT IT!

Comment left by: george (george@whitneygallery.com) I like it! Very imaginative.

Comment left by: Hans van Veluwen (no e-mail specified) Interesting composition and lighting. Interesting lens too - PEN F 25mm/F2.8? Any special reason for selecting this lens?

Comment left by: Mickey Trageser (mickeytr@maxinter.net) I like the luminence of the comb teeth, and the color intensity looming over the black etched background. But what is the background?

Comment left by: Anonymous Visitor Forgot to mention that it is the Pen bellows that fits to the camera, therefore the Pen lens.
Background is a plastic fresnel lens over a large polarizor left from my homemade telescopes of former years.
