This is probably the most original subject this TOPE!
Very nice! :)

Comment left by: Barry Bean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Oh yeah! A great shot all around - fascinating subject, brilliant colors, seamless bokeh, perfect focus, good composition.

Comment left by: Barry H (bhinderks@sprint.ca) Well done! Only thing that could have improved it would be some catchlights in the eye (real light fill flash)but then that is nitpicking.

Comment left by: John Pendley (jpendley@mail.tds.net) This is the man! He lives in a colorful world, and you've captured that in a way that seems spontaneous but which is actually very artful. I'm an old B&W guy, but this image is what color was made for. It image jumps off the screen; I'd love to see it in a big print. Even more, I'd love to meet David.

Comment left by: Simon E. (no e-mail specified) This is straight out of a travel photography guide, an excellent shot. Would be worth getting it printed professionally, the face would be benefit from being a little lighter, but it is still impressive as it is.

Comment left by: Eric Pederson (epederso@darkwing.uoregon.edu) Lovely shot. How forutunate to be travelling during the shooting period. I'm confused by your use of the 35-70 lens at 135mm. Was this really at f16?
If you darkened the white sky more, there should be no need to lighten the face.

Comment left by: Jodi Jakeway (jjakeway@iserv.net) Great shot, great colors, nothing else I can add about a terrific portrait.

Comment left by: Mike Cormier (ronaldcormier@hotmail.com) Reminds me of a shot I once saw in National Geographic. I like the sharp reds in contrast to the green bokeh. Well done.
