Your granddaughter did well in keeping this still, and you did very well to participate again, despite your failing eye sight.
Great stuff!!!

Comment left by: Chris Tabby (tabbycl@rocketmail.com) This is a wonderful thought-provoking study. It has an intensely haunting mood.

Comment left by: Barry Bean (bbbean@beancotton.com) I like this a lot - really projects a mood.

Comment left by: John Pendley (jpendley@mail.tds.net) Oh, yes, this has a haunting (or haunted) quality. The blurring of the candles and the even more blurred reflections are the stuff that great images are made of. Even though her image is centered, it seems off-center, owing to all the black on the right. What an effect! (Personally, the part I'm drawn to every time I look is the partial reflection of her face. Memorable.) I don't know who you are, but the allusion to failing sight in another comment is deceptive: this image came from one heck of a lot of sight!

Comment left by: Bruce Hamm (bhamm@magma.ca) Well done!

Comment left by: Chip Stratton (cstrat@tulsa.com) Haunting and dramatic! The candles at an angle help make the picture.

Comment left by: Jim Caldwell (jimcaldwell@iname.com) Very Gothic!! Neat idea for a portrait!

Comment left by: Bill B (nrky@juno.com) WOW!
