Subject information:	I like on this photo the nice color that flash has given, and this is the reason that I shot it - to check the fill in flash. However, I don't like the shadows that are present on the person because of the flash. No digital corrections were made.

The flash lighting is very natural indeed, and the shadows don't bother me that much. Nice picture!

The shadows and lighting don't look at all unnatural to me - it just looks like you had the sun behind you and diffuse lighting behind. Did they just put out Sevin dust?

tell me quick, was this shot in NY, Long Island specifically? Barry, the dropshadows are the flash giveaway, otherwise I too thought it was natural light. a fine shot too!

btw, i wonder if a slower shutter speed would have reduced the "flash shadow" by allowing more natural light?

ah. for a second i thought that was my uncle in NY. he looks JUST like that, and has more rose varieties than i can count; he competes.
