Comment left by: Mike Cormier (ronaldcormier@hotmail.com) Very abstract looking for a natural flower shot. I like it very much.

Comment left by: Joel Wilcox (jowilcox@blue.weeg.uiowa.edu) I especially like the abstract quality of this photo. Very interesting work. Good use of selective focus.

Comment left by: Chris Barrett (drchrisbarrett@netscapeonline.co.uk) I like the abstract effect too. Very well observed and executed.

Comment left by: Matt BenDaniel (matt@starmatt.com) Pretty!

Comment left by: Scott C.Nelson (snelson@hcfa.gov) The Red-Yellow-Green colorwheel opposites work really well here and those red finger-like structures pull you down into the flower and echo the stamin. Nice!

Comment left by: John A. Lind (jlind@netusa1.net) This is another one that attracts attention from a distance with its shapes and energetic colors. The colors work very well in harmony and the shapes are nicely balanced. Good composition and agree this has very much an abstract quality to it.

The abstract nature of it and the energetic color might make this work as a vertical too, which would enhance the energy already present. Try turning it 90 degrees to the right and see what you think.
