Help: fungus!

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Ralf Loi
Title: Help: fungus!
Gear used: OM-4 + 50/3.5 macro + tripod.
Diaphragm: F11
Shutter speed: Auto, around 1/8
Film used: Ektachrome 100 VS
Technical information: I put the subject near the window in a cloudy day, so there was diffuse light. Mirror and diaphragm prefire, with a reproduction ratio of about 1:3. It is a (non very good) scan from a Ciba print.
Subject information: During a party at home, someone arrived with a cake, but since there were already a lot of things to eat, it remained intact. It was a "fresh" cake and was envelopped in cellophan, so in a couple of days it developed fungus. I waited for some days until it was fully covered by different kind of fungus, and shot some photos.
