I don't think many people will pick such a "small tragedy of life" as a macro theme. Nicely done.

Comment left by: Mike Cormier (ronaldcormier@hotmail.com) Wow! very nice shot. I wish you also had one to post of the same subject with a 14 or 25mm extension tube... I'd bet it'd be even more spectacular. I really like the water bubble background.

Comment left by: Chris Barrett (drchrisbarrett@netscapeonline.co.uk) Nice shot and well observed. I disagree with Mike. I think a closer shot would have made it difficult to understand. As it is the additional rain drops need to be seen as well.

Comment left by: John A. Lind (jlind@netusa1.net) While a low key background works for a lot of others, the high key makes this one work and enhances the sihlouetting of it. Good composition: excellent subject placement with the mass at a rule of thirds point, and yet the back end helps fill some of the remainder of the frame too. The water drops throughout help "tell the story" very well. Leaves no doubt the tragedy that befell the creature.

Glad to see another Kodachrome user among us!
