Between the Acts

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Paul Wallich
Title: Between the Acts
Gear used: OM-2S + 35-70/3.5-4.5
Diaphragm: f5.6
Shutter speed: Auto OTF (less than a second)
Film used: Fuji Superia 400
Technical information: I cradled the camera in my lap with the lens set to about 50mm equivalent.
Subject information: A small "youth circus" was in town; the acts themselves were impossible to capture without either faster film or annoying my neighbors. But in some ways this was more of what it was about.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) A tad darkish, but the picture does display nicely what goes on along the side of the stage.

Comment left by: Mickey Trageser (no e-mail specified) We all do it. The waiting. It's a part of life. In the car, at the store, at the show. We just do it. Of course, it's more tolerable when there's a nice pair of legs to watch! ;-) Capturing the scene without letting on gives it a more genuine appearance.
