Submitter's name: Conrad Vogel
Title: Remembrance
Gear used: OM-1.
Diaphragm: unrecorded
Shutter speed: 1/125
Film used: Fuji 100 ASA.
Technical information: My wife Carolyn took the picture - I didn't know she even had my camera.
Subject information: This was taken at a lookout tower in northern Idaho (where I grew up and still live). and shows my son Conorey throwing rocks over the edge, and myself remembering how my dad used to let me do the same thing when I was a kid. I live in a town of 400 people and have all of my life, so this is a good example of my own area's "human society" - Out in the woods with dad.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) This shot nicely shows how traditions are passed along the generations. Father and son, a very important aspect of life.

Comment left by: Gregg (no e-mail specified) Certainly an ageless image.

Comment left by: Conrad Vogel (no e-mail specified) I figured I'd get thrashed because of cropping, composition, etc..., but I loved the way both of his feet are lifted off the ground....and mine are all to firmly planted.

Comment left by: Chris Barker (imagopus@threeshoes.co.uk) Well done Mum! I value the shots my wife took of me and my kids when they were young.

Comment left by: andrew fildes (afildes@netlink.com.au) Nice - would be improved by a little off the bottom and a lot off the right side. Crop to a square. Then the pair are nicely restrained by the wall and post, compared to the landscape.

Comment left by: Conrad Vogel (no e-mail specified) Thanks andrew
