Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Brilliant!

I like the way the small size of the child is emphasised by the obvioulsy bigger things surrounding him/her. Very nice!

Comment left by: Paul Connet (p2con@aol.com) Love this shot, and the Title is a perfect fit. It would have been nice to see the child turned around and fiddling with something in the yard, but children are as you see them.

Comment left by: Mickey Trageser (no e-mail specified) No wonder it takes so long to get those tires mounted! Great capture of a time gone by. I don't think I've ever seen manual tools for mounting and unmounting truck tires onto the wheels. Must be a primitive place. The child gives a scale to the surroundings. Great shot.

Comment left by: Les Clark (ll.clark@verizon.net) A charming and touching scene, enhanced by
the technical excellence that shows through
even in the degraded medium of the Internet.
There is obviously still something to the
old Beutler formulae!

Comment left by: Henrik Dahl (no e-mail specified) On the contrary to Paul I think it's perfect that the child is moving away from us, into the unknown shadows through the door. To me this is a very philosophical picture with many aspects of Human Society: child leaving childhood, leftovers from civilized society, tools that make society roll, outdoors yet captured between walls, etc... Great shot for this event.
