Technical information:	The flash was obviously handheld, manual at GN16; Bounce grip battery power for a quick recharge. The exposure time was determined by Auto -1. This plus the anticipated reciprocity failure in the background seemed like it would be sufficient to keep the background dark. Scanned on a flatbed scanner with transparency adaptor.
Subject information:	Myself wearing a suitably reflective wide-brimmed straw hat. The colors of the smallest/most distant/lowest me are approximately correct colors (a bit too blue on the jacket). I positioned myself above the camera to emphasize the effect of the lighting angle.

Very cool shot! I like the usage of the different colours, whilst maintaining (more or less) the same pose. Neatly executed.

On the index page, I thought this was a picture of thumbtacks! The photo looks very nice, although I can't help but think a true film scanner would give a nicer scan. Nice work.

Really nice one. The one on the index page indeed look like thumbtacks, exactly my thoughts. When I first looked at the larger photo I thought you disguised yourself as a monk instead of wearing a straw hat. I like both the idea and the execution.

i'm still not quite sure what you are reflected in, but a very nice effect. maybe if you had more images on the film? some overlapping?

Reply to Bob Gries: I'm not reflected in anything, the blackness is night. I didn't care for the image in which I was overlapping, but that might have been just that particular shot. Everything was quite hit or miss.

I thought this was thumbtacks, too. Very cool. I wish the red image was as sharp as the others, but that's a very minor nitpick
