Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Another very nice dreamy, mystical, shot.
I love the way the fence "dissolves" in the mist.

Comment left by: Doro (no e-mail specified) Olaf said it all - this picture transports a nice unreal sort of feeling

Comment left by: Chris Barker (imagopus@threeshoes.co.uk) You got this exposure just right I reckon. Perhaps the contrast is a little low, but dreamy and beautiful nonetheless.

Comment left by: Wayne Harridge (no e-mail specified) Good use of minimalism

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Nice composition, but the mist is almost overdone on the left side.

Comment left by: Moose (dreammoose@attbi.com) I think I would really like the original.
The scanning and/or processing has left so little detail and so few colors that I'm left frustrated. I also find the halo effects distracting. If all that is intentional, I'm sorry it doesn't work for me

Comment left by: John A. Lind (no e-mail specified) Yes, the mist creates a marvelous surreal abstraction of the shapes. The sky color is an interesting warm contrast to the snow. The fence draws the eye in across the snow field and "makes" the foreground. Like Barry, my eye wishes it could follow the fence just a little farther, but that's minor . . . I'd still want it to "dissolve" before reaching the far left edge . . . and you cannot control the fog level while waiting for the proper lighting which changes very rapidly at dusk. Curious how many shots you made as the sun set and the fog thickened. It's a time of day when I can easily burn a fourth of a film roll as the lighting rapidly changes.

Comment left by: Mickey Trageser (no e-mail specified) The fence just carries you off to... where? I think that transition leaves me wanting more detail, but the very lack of it is what makes it dreamlike. Nice.

Comment left by: XDan (stfu@urhouse) I don't know why, but this looks like it was taken with a istamatic ;)
