Gear Used: Olympus OM-2(n) - Zuiko 24/2,8 - Tasco Tripod
Film: Kodak Portra 160 VC

Subject Information: This is a view of Bogota-Colombia from the mountains.
I work every weekend at a touristic place over the Monserrate mountain one of the most visited places of the city, and one of my photographic routine is to take some sunsets. I think that this shot work well like a landscape.
I hope your excuse the horrible scan.

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Very dramatic! I'm particularly impressed with the sky.

Comment left by: Doro (no e-mail specified) Impressive shot! Must be nice to be able to have a photographic routine in this place :) I enjoyed this one!

Comment left by: Conrad Vogel (conrad@nidlink.com) Great picture! Love the purple.

(but too many people...My town (village?) has 435...)

Comment left by: Chung Seow Lim (boochap@pacific.net.sg) I hope I could work there every weekend tooo.

Comment left by: Andy Radcliffe (andyjradcliffe@aol.com) Wow ! One awesome "cityscape" - that sky is absolutely superb. Just love this picture - what more can I say? (except that the original must be truly stunning!)

Comment left by: Charles Sdunek (charles@mormons.com) Ya know, I have never thought much of the city, but this is simply beautiful! What a sight, and what a sky!

Comment left by: Anonymous Visitor Two questions:

What is blocking the scene to the left?

Is the original as soft as the scan? (This is not meant as an insult - I always thought the zuiko 24 was a bit soft at infinity and it looks like it in this print...)

Other than very nice.

Comment left by: Paul Wallich (pw@panix.com) Wonderful! Especially getting the colors of the sky and the night cityscape together.

Comment left by: Wayne Harridge (no e-mail specified) 2 great shots in one frame

Comment left by: Warren (wkato@aol.com) Very very nice cityscape. It was shot at just the right time to balance the sunset and the city lights.

Comment left by: Roger Wesson (roger@worldtraveller.f9.co.uk) Stunning sky and cityscape, with a wonderful range of colours. I don't like the dark blob at the lower right, though - if the city lights covered all the bottom of the frame I think it would work better.

Comment left by: Chris Barker (imagopus@threeshoes.co.uk) Fantastic scene, as in like a fantasy. The scan look OK to me.

Comment left by: Mike Lazzari (no e-mail specified) Good balance between the sky and the city and nice colors. ¡Buen trabajo!
