Moonscape

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Mike Butler
Title: Moonscape
Gear used: OM-2s + Novoflex 600 f 8 + 2XA
Diaphragm: f16 effective (f32)
Shutter speed: 1/125
Film used: Fujicolor Super HQ ASA 100 Print Film.
Technical information: The Novoflex lens was mounted to the tripod while the OM 2s was mounted to a monopod for added stability. This made the whole arrangement very difficult to aim, but I am happy with the results. The moon is roughly 12mm in diameter on the negative and the picture has been subsequently cropped from the frame.
Subject information: Ah, well, ahh... it's the Moon.

It's certainly not easy to keep such a set-up from moving.

Comment left by: Roy Talbot (rtalbot@laborready.com) The moon is always one of the more difficult ones to take as it usually turns out totally white. You captured this one perfect.
