Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Derren
Title: Finns Slough
Location: Finns Slough, Richmond, BC, Canada
Gear used: 28mm/f2,8 zuiko lens
Exposure: I think 1/60 @ f3,5
Subject information: This is a small community that have lived on the Fraser River (BC) for the last hundred years. People actually still live here. Not very sharp but never seem to get sharp pics with this lens (cheap scanner too). But i still like this picture the more I look at it. Taken on an overcast day.

Comment left by: Wayne Harridge (no e-mail specified) Good tonal range. Is the building tilted or just the camera (hard to tell !) ?

Comment left by: Derren Ahern (no e-mail specified) Good question, To be honest im not sure. Could be me as i never used a tripod and i was down on one knee. But whoever built this place probably thought 90 degrees was a hot day!

Comment left by: Saso (no e-mail specified) Great shot. I like the fact that the photo isn't pin sharp; it works well with the subject, aging the photo for some 40+ years.

Comment left by: Damon Wood (no e-mail specified) Wicked location!

Comment left by: Charlie Geilfuss (cgeilfuss@dycon.com) Good subject and composition just mind that horizon line.
