Submitter's name: Jim Caldwell
Title: Jeff.
Gear used: OM-4Ti + 35-70/3.5 + tripod
Diaphragm: F8
Shutter speed: 1/125
Film used: Ilford C41 B&W XP2.
Technical information: I like the look of the C41 B&W films for portraits. This was lit with three Lowell lights, the key light was heavily diffused with no-rip nylon. A reflector was used for fill light.
Subject information: This young man is a local actor with a local theater group and has hopes of getting a scholarship in theater. I did a number of portraits for the group he belongs to for their portfolios. Submitted for your approval!!

Comment left by: Chris (ftog@threeshoes.co.uk) It has to be an interesting portrait to get me to look if it's a bloke. I like the composition, the honest, straightforward look in his eyes and the tones from front to back.

Comment left by: Joel Wilcox (jowilcox@blue.weeg.uiowa.edu) This is outstanding. Jeff should be pleased, and you ought to be proud of yourself.
