Comment left by: Wayne Harridge (no e-mail specified) Nice "crisp" image, bark always is a facinating subject.

Comment left by: The photographer (no e-mail specified) The print is a lot crisper. I can't scan for peanuts !!
For the botanists, ake-ake is also known as Dodonea viscosa.

Comment left by: Mike Butler (no e-mail specified) Nature has much better (appealing to me) patterns and textures than mankind could ever come up with. Even at this resolution this could be the background for one of those "Serenity" posters, it is very soothing.

Nice texture.
