Subject and technical information: This is an interior view of the Mezquita of Cordoba (Andalusia, Spain). It is an old mosque, but after the 'reconquista' (XIII century) it became the cathedral of the city, and the middle of the mosque was rebuild as a church. The photo shows one of the original parts of the mosque. It is forbibben to use tripods, and the use of a flash is not useful due of the dimension, so I shot handheld (with the aid of a column).

Comment left by: Chris (ftog at threeshoes.co.uk) Good spot of an opportunity. The architecture is lovely, and I hope to return in September for another dose of Andalusia...

Comment left by: Lama (no e-mail specified) You held detail in the shadows very well. It's an interesting image that reproduces a real sense of volume and depth.
